Across the street on the front side offers a city park and the back has no neighbors/ alley with a big pasture perfect for watching sunsets. A one person hottub is available on back patio under the pergola. Also on patio is a Traeger grill and firepit. Pull your car in the garage and be hidden away for your stay.

School House Cabin

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Quiet and remote. You will see plenty of wildlife and the stars at night, and listen to the coyotes howl. Located 3 miles southwest of Johnstown, NE. This was once a one room grade school that has been converted into a cozy cabin for your enjoyment. No tv, no Wi-Fi, cell service is available. The school house cabin is located next to the Plum Creek Wildlife Management Area and 22 miles from the Niobrara River and 13 miles from Ainsworth, NE.

Valentine’s Tourist Tenure

Valentine’s Tourist Tenure is Located right off HWY 97 on your way to Merritt Dam. We would love to host you during your time in the Heart City! Our cozy little space has all that you will need for time away and we aim to make you to feel right at home. It is located close to the Bait shop and all of the restaurants, gas stations, Scotty’s Ranchland Foods, and more. There is plenty of room on the property for parking your RV, trailer, or boat as well. We can’t wait to host you for you stay!

Beautiful views of the sandhills and Middle Loup river going thru the property, with a small catch & release fishing pond on property.
