This newly built idyllic hillside seclusion for two nestles on the side of Ben Cruachan, one of Scotland’s most prestigious munros. On a clear evening the stars fill the sky. The walks directly around the lodge are full of history and stunning views including a waterfall.

It is a mile from Loch Fyne & seconds from the walkers entrance to Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park/Argyll Forest & on the edge of "Argyll's Secret Coast" & the Kyles of Bute National Scenic Area. It is a space suited for walkers, nature/outdoor lovers, cyclists, writers/painters or a retreat. It has a wood burner, solar panels & 100% renewable power.

Located in the centre of Inveraray only steps from the water, it is just a moments’ walk from the Jail, as well as all the local amenities including bars, restaurants, and shops, not forgetting Inveraray Castle. Inveraray itself is just over an hour’s drive from Glasgow. The town is a gateway to the Highlands & Islands and provides a great base for day touring.

Wee Coo Byre

Converted former byre in bucolic surroundings. Located just outside the village of Strachur, it is an ideal stop for anyone walking the Cowal Way and is close to the unexplored mountains of Cowal and the beautiful Loch Eck and Loch Fyne. The little cottage shares a garden with the main house (where I live most of the time) and is set amongst mature trees, rippling burns and abundant wildlife including chirruping birds, red squirrels and pine martens. A lovely place to unwind and relax.
