We are located just three minutes from Sweet Briar College, 20 minutes from Liberty University, and 20 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Close to restaurants and downtown Amherst. Enjoy the sunrise over a horse pasture, the sounds of nature, and the brightest stars in Virginia. Our Non-Functioning Family Farm is on the side of a mountain with fresh spring water. On the grounds you have a Hot Tub, Barn, Private Gym, Playground, Fire-pit, Hammock, Acres to Roam, Multiple Decks, etc. A quick ~10 minute walk to the Falling Rock Bridge on the Tye River for fishing, kayaking, tubing, or looking for Otters! Nelson lake has a boat ramp and public fishing just 5 miles away.

Located in Massies Mill, it is a 20-30 minute drive to the Appalachian Trail, Wintergreen, breweries, wineries, and distilleries. It is also practically around the corner from Pharsalia Events. There are several convenience stores close by, but the closest grocery store is an 18 minute drive. Situated on 26 acres, there is more than a mile of marked trails available to walk as you wish.

Charming Renovated 1930's Soapstone Workers' Bungalow Relaxing, peaceful getaway in gorgeous Nelson County. Adjacent to a large hay field which leads down to a private branch of the Rucker's Run with excellent fishing. The cottage is at the end of a quiet country lane with few nearby houses. The newly renovated home was initially built to house workers from a soapstone quarry located on the property. During the remodel, we even found rationing coupons from 1945 hidden in the walls!

Need a quiet get-away? You've got the it!!! Enjoy the deck, HOT TUB, gorgeous mountain view and lovely night music. This home has a living room, furnished kitchen, bathroom, & bedroom with a queen bed on the main floor, 2 loft floor mattresses; basement has a full bed and bathroom. A gas grill and fire ring are provided. You will have Wifi, Roku TV screens, puzzles, card games, and corn hole. The Blue Ridge Parkway is nearby. This cabin is 15 min from the AT at mile marker 809.1.

The property includes high speed 100 Mbps Internet, a 65" Smart TV, gas grill, and a fire pit with outdoor seating. Enjoy visiting the local restaurants, orchards, wineries, and breweries. You will be a short drive from hiking Crabtree Falls, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Humpback Rock, Wintergreen, and James River State Park. The Lovingston Winery is just minutes down the road!
