Ásinn Redouse 2, er ný 22 m2 studío og er önnur íbúð í húsinu. Hún er á friðsælum stað í sveit, um 18 km frá Egilstöðum á Austurlandi. Íbúðin verður tilbúin 1. júlí 2026. Frágangi utanhúss er ekki alveg lokið en það stendur til bóta. Íbúðin er með útsýni í vestur og kvöldsólin nær einnig á glugga í norðri. Húsið sem íbúðin er í stendur í túnjaðri. Víðsýnt er frá húsinu í allar áttir. Stutt er í ósnortna náttúru með fuglalífi, litlum læk og kindum á beit.

Beautiful, warm and cosy cottage for 2 people. It's located in the countryside 18 km from the town Egilsstaðir on road 931. It's on the south side of the lake on the way to Hallormsstaður the biggest forest in Iceland. The next grocery store is in Egilsstaðir. Good paved road, passable all the year. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful landscape, nice hiking trails down to the lake or up to the hills, good place to see the northern lights in wintertime.

Smábót 2 — riverside cottage

Smábót is a small cottage (15 square meters) and has accommodations just outside Egilsstaðir and has a great riverside view. The cottage has two single beds, private bathroom and free WiFi. The facilities are extremely suitable for two people. A variety of hiking trails are nearby and guests are allowed to go fishing for free in the river called Rangá. The nearest airport is Egilsstaðir Airport, 8 km from the cabin location.

Don’t miss to hike and visit Vestdalur waterfalls that is a short walk from the cabin. The cabin is provided with dvds, books and vintage video games.

Berunes Smithy - Historic Tiny House by the Fjord

An unique Tiny House, a compact living space for friends. It is part of the Historic Farmhouse, in a former Smithy. The House is opposite the Community Church and Graveyard. Close by the popular Berunes Restaurant, open from June to August ´26. The restaurant takes pride in serving an ever-changing menu inspired by local ingredients, ensuring a delightful culinary journey during your stay.

The cottage is located near the owner’s farm with lovely views over the nearby stream to the mountains behind. It is around 12 Km from Egilsstaðir and is well situated for exploring the spectacular nature of East Iceland. The farm offers horse riding.
