The Stables is situated in Kakamas in the heart of the vineyards, the ideal overnight self catering accommodation or overnight camping on your way to the Augrabies Falls, Riemvasmaak or the Namibian border. The view of the vineyards and our horse's stables can be seen from your unit, and the peacefulness of this setting is just what you need to recharge for the road ahead. Our units cater for 4 guests per unit. Enjoy our unique Paddock Camping stands, each with a private ablution and braai.

Kanaal kooi

Kanaal Kooi is a solar garden cottage situated in a lovely quiet street next to the canal. 5 minute drive from Medi Clinic, Kalahari Mall, and Hoërskool Duineveld. It is 10 minute drive from Hoërskool Upington and the airport. It is a perfect stopover for traveling to Kgalagadi, Namibia and Augrabies falls. It is a two-bedroom apartment with a small kitchen. Luxury features like wifi, aircon, Nespresso machine, Snappy chef and so much more. Kanaal Kooi has a beautiful spacious garden.

Nevar Farm cottage

Nevar farm cottage is the newest addition to our De Akker cottages. The cottage is situated in a peaceful spot on our working farm. You have a beautiful old Camel thorn tree in front of the house and at the back you can see the sunset while overlooking the vineyards. You have a barbecue on the front stoep and a fire pit on the other side. Relax in front of the indoor fireplace while enjoying a glass of wine. This unique place has a style all its own. Come enjoy it with your loved one.

Mitat Farm Cottage

Situated on a working farm in the beautiful "Green Kalahari" overlooking the lush Vineyards. Peaceful is definitely a thought that comes to mind when you enter Mitat Cottage. Escape from the chaos and come relax in the private splash pool while enjoying a barbeque. Mitat was build with the thought of pure relaxation so we decided to not have Wifi or a TV installed just so you can escape from the world. Pre-book a massage in the comfort of the cottage or enjoy a walk in nature.
