The North Transept

The North Transept is part of our converted Victorian Gothic church. We've done all the conversion ourselves - the high ceilings and beautiful Gothic windows make it a unique space. It's in a small hamlet in a beautiful hidden valley surrounded by fields; there's lovely walking from the door and lots of local wildlife including roe and muntjac deer, pheasants, red kites and owls. It's easy to get to a wide range of local attractions like Lacock and Avebury and only half an hour to Bath.

The Annexe is part of our beloved 17th century farmhouse in Biddestone village. Biddestone is a beautiful village and it has the best fed ducks in Wiltshire. It is only 12 miles from Bath, and a 20 minute drive from Badminton and close to the historic villages of Castle Combe and Lacock. We have a friendly pub in the village - The White Horse - serving a traditional menu, and which is, contrary to online information, open!

Fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave etc. There is milk/tea and coffee. there are several shops in Corsham and a big Sainsbury’s supermarket nearby. Excellent pub food locally at ‘The White Horse’, a minutes stroll away. ‘The White Hart’ at Ford, on the river is excellent.
