ABC acres is a permaculture farm in the Bitterroot Valley of Western Montana. Sustainable food production, healthy living systems, and ecological design is what we are all about. Our chickens, goats, and newly buzzing honeybee populations are out on open pasture, eating, resting, pollinating, and living the way nature intended. The Bitterroot Guest House

This new mountain modern guest house sits in the middle of a beautiful, 80-acre working ranch in the historic Bitterroot Valley of Montana. Hike the ranch or explore beyond on many scenic trails. The valley has craft breweries, distilleries, cheese-makers, and casual or fine dining all within minutes. Two creeks run through the ranch, and elk, whitetail deer, and turkeys are seen often, with occasional sightings of cougar, bear and bald eagles. Come escape to this wild and beautiful place!

Independent ground floor guest suite of Log Home. Private estate surrounded by old growth Ponderosa pine forest. Two spacious bedrooms, a large bathroom, living room, and full custom walnut kitchen with all new stainless appliances and a laundry room. Very peaceful, secure and quiet. The road is a Montana style dirt road. When there is NO snow any car will make it up the hill. In Winter you will need a four wheel vehicle. We snowplow the road as necessary in winter. We are Pet friendly.

No need to pack in water, our private well has the best water! Turkeys and deer meander through. The property is on 2.3 acres and borders 25 acres.

The Bitterroot Valley, Montana is known for its rich ranching history and is sandwiched between the Bitterroot and Sapphire mountains. The Cottage is a delightful retreat in the foothills of the gorgeous Bitterroot Mountains, 2 miles outside of Hamilton, Montana. We are a family of four living the good life on our small working farm and The Cottage is our vacation rental nestled into the center of our property. Complete with it's own driveway and nicely fenced off from the rest of the busy goings on of the barnyard, it is separate from our space, but animal sights and sounds are sometimes a part of the experience.
