Welcome to The Borrego House, a unique time capsule tucked away in the vast desert. Here, you will feel light years away from the noise of the city, be dazzled by star-filled night skies, and treated to countless outdoor activities. The property is walking distance to Galleta Meadows, and surrounded by Borrego State Park. For homebodies and remote workers the property offers expansive views, indoor fireplace, outdoor fire pit & bbq grill, wood-fired tub, screened in porch, and Starlink internet.

The Wood Pile Inn getaway

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. This historic cabin built in 1920 was recently refurbished to its old charm with some modern upgrades for your comfort. The original owner of the Cabin was an author named Catherine Woods. She wrote the very first book on the history of Palomar Mountain; Teepee to Telescope. You'll find a copy in the cabin for a good read.Lots of natural light make this little cabin feel spacious, the windows throughout the cabin offer a beautiful forest view.

Cranberry Cabin

Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic cozy cabin on the top of the mountain. Newly updated and ready to be your basecamp for the Palomar adventures . This is a tiny home, 19' x 11' (the bedroom is 11x11ft). Max sleeping capacity: 2 adults and one child under age 5. No AC. Max 2 dogs stay free - disclose bringing them. $100 cat cleaning fee on top of our $50 cleaning fee, and we will charge $200 if you fail to disclose your cat(s). I'm highly allergic to cats and so might be other guests.

High Desert Tiny Home w/ Sauna

Cactus and Stars is a desert modern duplex close to town. The Property has great views of the mountains and stars, as well as a fun and relaxing yard. The residential neighborhood is one block from Christmas Circle and the restaurants and shops along Palm Canyon Rd, and is proximate to the new library and other services. This vintage horse trailer was reimagined into a Tiny house by Lane and Laurie as a couples project in 2018 which they completely gutted and remodeled using beautiful natural materials like wood, old fashioned wood cabinetry, handmade ceramic tiles and woven bamboo. Bluebird Tiny House is tucked into a secluded forest meadow, named for the bluebirds that spend part of the year there and there are miles of private trails to enjoy.

Relax at this classic old adobe casita. Walking distance to fine dining and spa facilities. Our Small casita boasts beautiful views, pool(in season) and barbeque area. Lounges, blankets for evening star gazing. You may see “Roady” the resident Roadrunner, a huge brown owl, or if you are a bird enthusiast, many unusual species stop by for an occasional drink at the watering hole. Quiet grounds.
