Welcome to our beautiful Muskoka Retreat, just 20 mins from the town of Huntsville. There is a complimentary Provincial Park Pass provided, between check in and check out times. The decor is fresh and intimate, with warm wood accents. Our property is surrounded by trees, on 10 acres of forested land, where you can enjoy the company of many species of birds and wildlife. The guest house is completely separate and private, from our home, which is 50 feet away, and it was newly built in 2022.

This 325 square foot cabin was originally built as a hunt camp in 1955 and has been newly renovated to be modern and comfortable while still maintaining its vintage rustic charm. Come and unplug in this quiet simple space only 5 minutes from Ilfracombe beach. Many folk singer/songwriters have recorded in this cabin over the past few years and it is now being opened up as a quiet getaway.

You have a private fire pit and area about your cabin. This cabin has full king bed. In winter it's heated by a furnace and keeps the cabin warm and cozy. A private affordable room to rent while enjoying all the area has to offer. The room is small but comfortable for two people. There is a private entrance and private full bathroom. There is a small bar fridge, a coffee maker and microwave. Unfortunately there is not access or use of the kitchen.
