Footbridge Farm Cabin

Footbridge Farm is a quiet country get-away located on 90 wooded acres, 15 miles NE of Decorah. We are close to the mouth of Canoe Creek, the Upper Iowa River and adjacent to state DNR land. The cozy owner-built cabin has an open ceiling with exposed beams and rafters giving a sense of spaciousness. Local stone was used in the exterior walls and the floor-to-ceiling fire back behind the wood-burning stove. The floors are oak and slate. Detailed craftsmanship can be found throughout the cabin.

CR Station Train Caboose

Enjoy the restoration of our charming and cozy caboose! Complete with all the amenities you'll need and more! Linens and towels, refrigerator, microwave, a double burner hot plate, dishes for cooking, barware for cocktailing, and even the original conductor's chairs to watch the sunset over the horse pasture. Enjoy our private Guesthouse with full amenities and our shared courtyard for your weekend couples getaways. A 60 foot bridge starts your walk up the trail to the treehouse. Then a 250 foot gravel path leads you to this beautiful Treehouse. Has electricity, running hot/cold water, walk-in-shower, flushing toilet, 2 full size beds, fridge ,A/C, electric heat , ample kitchen amenities, toiletry items supplied, and housekeeping.

Bin There, Done That inspiration came from the television series "Texas Flip N Move." During one episode, an old grain bin was moved and repurposed into a home and from that Bin There, Done That was born. Here you will find a place to relax and refresh, a farming community surrounded by nature, good eateries, and local artisans. You can enjoy a variety of experiences and at the end of your stay you can say, "I've Bin There, Done That."

Hill Top House

Located .5 miles from the Upper Iowa River, Hilltop house has the most perfect view. The house sleeps 8, but we welcome and encourage smaller groups as well. This location has 2 bathrooms, a relaxing loft and the most dreamy porch. *WARNING* When booking in the winter be aware of our driveway shown in the picture. We highly recommend 4 wheel drive. We also have a pack n play and high chair available upon request.

Whats New Cabin and Antique Store

Hello, this is a two bedroom log cabin with full kitchen area, bathroom with shower, sitting area with satellite tv, and covered deck. The cabin is on a 3 acre pond with good fishing and a sand beach, boats and kayaks are available for use. There is also a covered shelter with picnic tables and an extra bathroom and shower, all in the shelter . A secluded area - 1/4 mile private driveway. New in 2016.

Decorah named most charming town in Iowa - again Decorah is one of 50 Best small towns in America. Cabin with full kitchen, bedroom with queen bed, 1 full bath, lower level has 2 futons, satellite TV, central air, extra large deck, gas grill. Less than 1 mile from Decorah's bike trail, Decorah Eagle Nest, Iowa State Fish Hatchery, 500' to snowmobile trail, fire pit with wood supplied.

Trout Creek Cabin

The cabin sits in a valley on the South Fork of the Root River. Fire pit, hot tub and 2 large patios both with outdoor dining, steps away from the trout stream make this unique property a peaceful, romantic get away. A short drive from the Root River bike trail and Lanesboro making it easy to take advantage of the best historic bluff country has to offer.
