Magical, grade II listed 18th century traditional Lakeland cottage, set within 5 acres of woodlands, leading directly to private beaches on Lake Windermere. Relax in a peaceful, natural environment, ideal for friends, families, wild swimmers, cyclists, paddle boarders, hikers and for cosy evenings by the fireplace. Nestling in a quiet rural setting Hilderstone Stable was converted recently into a contemporary high quality 2 bed cottage. 5 mins north of J35 M6. This cottage is ideally located for exploring the Lake District, Arnside/Silverdale AONB, Leighton Moss and Yorkshire Dales. The settlement of Hilderstone can be traced back to the 13th century. The barn was built originally in c1750. There is still a working farm as part of the 200 acre Hilderstone Farm. A great base for outdoor activities.

Gressingham is a small, picturesque village and makes the perfect location for walkers, cyclists and those wanting a country break.
