Clifden, The Barn on the Wild Atlantic Way.

The Barn is a unique old stone barn but modern, with an open plan sitting/kitchen/ eating area with cathedral ceiling and a long narrow window overlooking the Salt Lake to one side, a small window looking down to the sea on the other. There are two bedrooms and a wet room style bathroom (no bathtub) but plenty of hot water and underfloor heating. It is wonderfully quiet, a real retreat for those who just want to escape. Joe's Cottage

Joe's Cottage is a traditional Irish stone cottage situated 3 km from the heart of Clifden town centre. This property is full of character and exhibits many traditional features. The cottage is within a twenty minute drive of many local amenities and beaches. A picturesque public walkway runs beside the cottage and the entrance is only 500m away. If you are lucky enough to get a clear sky we recommend taking some time to view the stars as they can be breathtaking on a clear night.

Originally built for the Slyne Head Lighthouse keepers, this historic dwelling has been skilfully renovated to create a comfy, well-equipped & stylish holiday space. In an excellent location overlooking Clifden Bay, it is 5 minutes walk up to the lively town full of interesting shops, bars & restaurants.
