Ballater is an attractive riverside village in rural Aberdeenshire with many amenities including an interesting Golf Course. There are significant Royal Connections with Balmoral Castle, the summer residence of the Royal Family only a short drive away.There are a good number of places to eat, catering for many tastes as well as a well stocked supermarket. Outdoor activities include many walks and Biking trails with two bike hire sources in the village and the Cairngorms are not too far away.

The downstairs family bathroom includes a shower/bath combination whilst the upstairs shower room provides facilities close to the sleeping quarters, made up of a sizeable master bedroom and a large twin room.

The Mill Cottage, Cairngorms National Park

The Mill is set on the side of a spectacular, secluded glen in the Cairngorms National Park, Scotland. In the 19th century it operated as a Watermill and has been lovingly converted into a 3 bedroomed holiday cottage. It is warm and comfortable and enjoys stunning views up the Corries glen to the summit of Carn Daimh. Please note. The Studio is on the east side of Glen Nochty enjoying open views of the Nochty River and the Doune of Invernochty. The village itself is a 5 minute walk away, with a local shop.
