This snug, grass-roofed eco-cabin offers panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy a warm Irish welcome, mountain walks on the Beara Way or snorkelling through nearby reefs. Sample local cheeses, lamb, fish and seafood or stoke up the wood-burning stove, have a glass of wine and and savour the peace and tranquillity! Word of warning: we are VERY remote, (1km off the road down a rough track). With almost no public transport, own transport (eg car) is highly recommended - see Getting Around!

The cottage is set in an idyllic location on the Ring of Kerry, close to Beaufort village (pubs, restaurants and shops). Killarney is less than 15 mins away. A scenic area at the foothills of the mountains, close to all major attractions; Irelands highest mountain Carrauntoohill, the Gap of Dunloe and the Black Valley. The Grove Cottage, a wonderful 19th Century Farmhouse, has been in my family since 1895. The house is just outside the beautiful town of Killarney and a stones throw from the Killarney National Park - a great base for hiking, cycling, fishing, and other adventures. Guests love its country feel even though it's so close to town. Why not come to visit sometime and enjoy - it's your home away from home :) x
