It’s a short 1 mile drive to the light rail station for easy access to downtown Seattle. I offer rides to/from SeaTac airport and car parking onsite while you’re away for a fee. Ask me about that.

Private beach cabin, Vashon Island

Some say the cabin has a nautical feel with galley kitchen, wood paneling and brass light fixtures. In the bathroom, copper pipes become towel racks. Outside there are deck chairs and more by the water along with a meditation maze made from beach stones. The lighthouse is a short beach walk away. The reading and writing room, across the path, is a refuge for solitary study or work. Enjoy the water, marine life and birds here where each season brings new joy and sometimes, excitement.

Once tucked back into the woods, this newly improved 1920s cabin now enjoys a front-row seat to the grandeur of the Hood Canal thanks to a tidal creek that has washed away the sandy soil that once supported the departed trees. This property may prove challenging for individuals with mobility issues. **Pricing is discounted due to ongoing improvements. The Creamery

Nestled between the barn and the milking parlor is The Creamery; a relaxing spot to spend a few days far from the rigors of the city. Here we made Dinah's Cheese for years, and now you can enjoy the sunrise from the comfort of your plush bed, warmed by the thick down comforter. The French Limousin cows may come up to your bedroom window, curious as to who is sharing the pastures this morning. The quiet will be startling, with little noise but coffee brewing in the kitchen.

Cozy Cottage Downtown near Beaches and Marinas

Step back into time when you stay at this unique and historic guest cottage, built in 1913 and nestled into the back of a lush whimsical emerald green estate in the heart of downtown Des Moines, WA. Close to the airport and just 4 blocks from beaches, marinas, a seasonal local farmers' market, and 1 block to many restaurants, this space is great for an individual, couple, or small family or group of friends. Come for a day or a month, you are welcomed here.
