The House at the Beach is a double-upper Victorian villa (built 1871). It is a beautiful home from home, equipped and decorated to a very high specification, with stunning views over North Berwick’s west beach, harbour, and the RNLI lifeboat station. The window seat in the sitting room is a favourite place for visitors to watch all the activities on the beach, sailing boats, boats from the harbour to the islands, as well as the regular training launching the lifeboat. We are close to Dunbar , with its wonderful beaches and historic harbour North Berwick is a 15 minute drive , passing Foxlake & Whitekirk Hill Lots of Golf courses in the area To the east is St Abbs & Coldingham Bay , a working harbour and famous for being in the recent Marvel Films. The Garden Bothy is a charming, detached cottage that sits within the grounds of Preston Hall Estate, just 12 miles from Edinburgh city centre.
