Portbahn holiday house, close to distillery

Portbahn is at the edge of the village of Bruichladdich. It was our home before moving to Jura, and has many of our things in it. We hope you find it cosy and welcoming; a home from home. The house can sleep and cater for up to 8 guests, with all bedrooms on one level. There is a large garden and deck, a bbq, sunken trampoline and swings. It is a 10-minute walk to the mini shop and distillery, with a coastal path walk providing access to the beach for long walks or a spot of wild swimming!

Scandi meets Scotia at this simple yet stylish cottage which.sits on both the Kintyre 66 route and the Kintyre Way walking route. There are 2 incredible beaches within walking distance of the cottage as well as amazing scenery. Island hopping adventures abound with 4 ferries within a short drive offering day trips to Gigha, Islay, Jura, Arran and Cowal.

Argyll Retreat is a cosy timber cabin located in the Argyll Forest Park and Loch Lomond and Trossachs Natiomal Park. It is owned and managed by myself. The lodge is layed out for a couple or solo travellers. Argyll is steeped in history and has miles of coastline, lochs, forests and mountains. The lodge is also a great place to relax. Enjoy. The Wee House

The Wee House is a one bedroom seafront cottage looking onto Port Ellen. Sleeping up to 4 guests with a sofa bed (full size double) in the living room. Listing price is for 2 guests sharing the bedroom. If the sofa bed is required for bookings of 2 guests please let us know as there is an extra charge (£10 per night). The cottage is within walking distance of local shops, pubs and restaurants and near to the distillery path taking you to Laphroaig, Lagavulin and Ardbeg.

Ploughmans Cottage is located in the Village of Furnace, 7 miles from Inveraray, in Argyll. The cottage was built around 1890 to house the Ploughman for Goatfield Farm, and has been extensively remodelled to create a unique getaway. Our house is situated in the village of Keills just a few minutes from the Ferry Terminal at Port Askaig. The house has stunning views down the Sound of Islay towards Kintyre. Finlaggan Visitor Centre, Bunnahabhain, Caolila and Ardnahoe Distillery are all a short drive away from the house. The house is fully equipped with all you need to make it a home from home. The garden in front of the house is perfect to sit in and while away the hours in the sun.

Dunans Cottage

Dunans Cottage is situated in the beautiful Knapdale Forest 1.9 miles from Cairnbaan within a National Scenic Area. The views are fantastic! The Cottage is off the beaten track but within a traditional farming hamlet with access via a forestry track ( see illustrated map ). Many outdoor and indoor activities are available within the area but the peace and quiet at Dunans are unique.
