Enjoy your trip to the coast in this oceanfront cottage with a fireplace and private hot tub! It doesn’t get closer to the ocean than this! This duplex cottage has two bedrooms: one with a queen bed, and one with two queen beds. The great room offers spectacular views and a full kitchen, and there’s a spacious deck with a private hot tub. When it’s cold, enjoy the gas fireplace - and there’s AC for if you want to keep the curtains open on the massive windows facing the Pacific on a sunny day. Cape Cod Cottages are located directly on Big Stump Beach, with miles of sand in each direction. Waldport - a great location for crabbing and clamming - is just to the North. You can rent boats to try crabbing from Dock of the Bay or McKinley’s Oregon Coast Marina, and at low tide, you can go clamming in the mud near the bridge. The quant town of Yachats is a few miles to the South, with great restaurants, and a beautiful rocky coastline full of tidepools at low tide. The Newport Aquarium is 30 minutes to the North, and you can explore the Sand Dunes 45 minutes to the south by foot, rented ATV, or guided tour. Need space for family & friends? At this peaceful and centrally-located suite tucked behind a 1930’s home up a little hill, you will be close to everything important. Walk 1/5 of a mile to Old Town, where you may visit The Port of Siuslaw, many well known restaurants, art galleries and shops. Hwy 101 is a couple blocks away where our famous Pono Hukilau Restaurant is located. Walk a wee bit further to Exploding Whale Park and enjoy sitting on the river’s beach for a picnic or take a short drive to Heceta Beach for the day.

NOTE: We welcome well-behaved pets and owners who take careful responsibility for their them.

If are looking for comfy home with a stunning ocean view within walking distance of Yachats restaurants and shops, our house is for you! Watch the waves roll in, the sun set, the birds fly by, and occasionally whales and sea lions from our comfy home. Hunt for agates on the smelt sand beach and explore the tide pools just in front of the house, walk down the nearby 804 trail to an 8-mile sandy beach, or head to nearby Cape Perpetual for a hike.
