Set high on the hillside, you can relax and enjoy unique panoramic views over Oban and Glen Coe mountain range. The Black Cabin makes the ideal space for a romantic getaway and as a base to explore the wonderful west coast of Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿.

Tigh Anteach

Cozy cabin for 2 people only. Sofa bed available on request Far enough up the hill to enjoy the quiet but close enough to the town for the bars and restaurants. The Cow Hill circuit is close to the cabin. Ben Nevis is a 10 min car journey. Glenfinnan viaduct is 14 miles away. It is a 20/30 min walk down into the town. We are on the main local bus route. N46 or N47 bus will get you to our door from the High Street. In good weather you can sit out on the decking and watch the world go by.

Enjoy the peace and views at our cosy wee cabin. Beautiful setting on the banks of Loch Eil. Watch the Jacobite Steam Train pass on the opposite shore, along with the sea birds and other wildlife. Easy access to the water if you have kayaks or paddle boards. Located within the grounds of our home, so you share the driveway and garden. Make sure you bring your provisions as we are 35 minutes drive from Fort William and there are no shops or restaurants near by.

Prostrana brvnara koja je u neposrednoj blizini svih lokalnih sadržaja (bazen, prodavnice, restorani i barovi). Udaljen je oko 10 minuta hoda do najbliže autobuske stanice i lokalne železničke stanice. Idealno mesto za istraživanje brda i planina. Most do ostrva Skaj udaljen je samo kilometar i po, a brežuljci Kintela su nadohvat ruke na oko 15 milja. U blizini se nalazi neobično, živopisno selo Plockton, a istorijski dvorac Eilean Donan udaljen je 8 milja.

Abundant wildlife such as otters, sea eagles and beautiful wild flora can be discovered as well as historic sites such as Gylen castle, all the while surrounded by breathtaking views. The island is easily accessible by the nearby Calmac passenger ferry from Gallanach, near the mainland town of Oban.

It is in a central location just a five minute walk to town and train station. Nestled at the base of Cow Hill and next to Ben Nevis it is an ideal base. Also has a stream out front and lovely woodland behind.
