A paradise in the woods, a place to connect with nature. Sit in tranquility with the living creatures near the lake. No wifi, we have NATURE. Along the path there is a seperate building which houses the toilet and a different building for shower. Treehouse comfortable for two. Fire pit located close to the lake and a trail that goes to the kayak and the raft. Relax on our Bali inspired swing. Sunbath on the wharf SHARED-Two person kayak and raft. Shower disabled in the cold winter mths.

Brier Island is a magical getaway where the ocean meets the sky and the whales & birds abound. Your one of a kind, self contained suite offers everything you need, plus parking & a private deck with a fire table & BBQ. The ocean is across the street where the whale watching boats dock. Close by is the general store & restaurant. This small island is filled with peaceful relaxation & exciting adventures. Comfortably furnished; both bedrooms have queen-size beds; den w/futon*; 1.5 baths. Wood fireplace for cool, foggy days. Fibre optic (fast) internet, movies (DVDs) but no TV. Retreat, read, write, hike, play music, recover, savor, sleep, relax...minimum stay 3 nights. * 5 people can stay if there are 2 couples for the bedrooms

Acres of land, a sandy beach hidden behind a well-groomed property sprinkled with beautiful tall trees disappearing into the Acadian forest. Includes: private hot tub and firepit, shared sauna, cold plunge, lake access, public wood fired hot tub (great for groups when booking one than more cabin) canoe, kayaks, paddle boards, pedal boat, sandy beach, floating mat and more.

Au Ford du Lac

In the rural Acadian community of Clare, you will find our fully equipped 1 bedroom + loft A-Frame style chalet sitting on a small lake. The beautiful view can be enjoyed from wall to wall windows, wrap around deck, or while sitting in the hot tub. Loft: 1 king & 1 single bed. Downstairs bedroom: 1 queen bed. Living room: double pull out sofa & futons. We are rural, although not remote. We live next door so let us know if anything is missing during your stay!
