It has a lovely private garden with outdoor seating in the shade or in the sun. “Mimi’s Cottage “ is one of the oldest in the area. It has been fully and tastefully renovated and offers a light and bright living, dining and kitchen area. All rooms have split systems and there’s a lovely wood fire in the lounge area. The kitchen is very generously equipped and there’s a large gas bbq for outdoors.

The Hut

The Hut is a great little Studio Cabin set less than 60 metres from a quiet stretch of the Murray River. The Hut is a modern self contained well appointed cabin, the perfect place to relax and unwind. Just 10 minutes drive from Mathoura, 40 minutes to the bustling tourist hubs of Echuca/Moama, 30 minutes to the Ute Muster Capital, Deniliquin and 2 kms from the amazing Timbercutter cafe bar function venue. The Hut is surrounded by nature, expect kangaroos and birdlife at your door.

While perfectly suited for couples or single travellers, the cottage is unsuitable for people travelling with pets. Only 8 minutes’ drive from the centre of Echuca, everything is within comfortable reach; but you’ll sleep in the country peace and quiet and probably wake to the sound of birdsong.
