Our accommodation is a private, entire-house rental (3DK, 46㎡). It can host up to 6 guests, with one queen bed (for 2 people) and four single futon sets (for 4 people). For the most comfortable stay, we recommend 2–4 guests. --- ● Property Details This is a single-story traditional house with beautiful exposed beams and an open, airy atmosphere. **Japanese-style Living Room (6 tatami mats)** A relaxing space with a sofa and low table. We recommend enjoying the uniquely low perspective of traditional Japanese living. Futons stored in the closet can be laid out here for use as a bedroom. **Japanese-style Bedroom (3 tatami mats)** This room features a queen bed. **Japanese-style Room (4.5 tatami mats)** Located right by the entrance. A cozy space where you can sit on a single sofa, read a book, or enjoy tea. The closet can be used to store suitcases. This room can also be used as a bedroom by laying out futons from the 6-tatami room. **Dining Kitchen** A bright space with natural light streaming in from a skylight. Equipped with a dining table for four, kitchen facilities, and a washer-dryer. **Bathroom** Compact, clean, and comfortable. **Washbasin** A renovated space that blends retro charm with usability. **Toilet** Equipped with a washlet for your comfort. **Loft (2nd floor)** For safety reasons, guests cannot enter the loft, but you can still view the traditional Japanese roof structure. ※ There are two air conditioners/heaters. As this is a wooden house over 70 years old, please note that it may be a bit cold in winter. --- ● Parking Two cars can be parked next to the building. Please note that the road in front is one-way. You can also enjoy handmade ceramic coffee cups crafted by the owner’s father, as well as a matcha tea set prepared by the owner’s mother. Basic seasonings provided: olive oil, salt, and pepper.

心が温まる宮島の古民家

宮島の町家通りから一本通りを入ったところにある「ゲストハウス心」。 　玄関の暖簾をくぐると、京都の長屋の料亭を思い出すような竹壁で、踏み石で中庭に導かれていく粋な演出。中庭も白玉石とこけのバランスがきれいで、落ち着いた雰囲気に一役買っている。リビングからも中庭が見えるようにガラス戸を配してある。 　庭を介して宿泊者だけが泊まれる棟になっており、誰にも気兼ねすることはない。外から見ると普通の民家なのだが、一歩踏み入れると、別の雰囲気になり宿の魅力に繋がっている。聞けば、先代の主人は昔から庭いじりが好きで、趣味も幅広かったとのこと。ただ、冒頭のように最初は宿をはじめる気はなかったので、風呂の設備はない（シャワー有り。）のだが、周辺の宿を外湯として利用できる。1階がリビング、2階は二間続きの和室が寝室になっていて、6名までならゆっくりと滞在できる。 　中庭に「心」とこけの中に白い石で敷き詰めた文字がある。昔、庭師が遊び心で造ったもので、宿の名前の由来になっている。心を込めてもてなし、滞在する人に心を落ち着けて時間を過ごして欲しいと願っているという。

囲炉裏を囲んで仲間とゆっくり過ごせます。風や空模様に季節を感じながら、五右衛門風呂やかまど、昔ながらのスローライフが楽しめます(カセットコンロ、IHヒーター、シャワーあります)。薪ストーブクッキング、屋外でのBBQも出来ます。 　出雲市駅から自動車で10分。出雲大社へは２5分。近くに温泉もあります。20畳の和室がプライベートな寝室で、キッチンとトイレは共有です。蔵に設計事務所を併設していて平日は8時30から18時まで仕事をしています。眺めの良い茅葺の小間もお使い頂けます。 　エアコンもありますが夏は縁側を開け放って蚊帳を掛けると、夏の夜風が快眠を誘います。春から秋は蛙やヒグラシ、鈴虫などの懐かしい声が枕元に届きます。 　炭火や火起こしに不慣れな方はタイミングが合えばお手伝いします。薪は無料、囲炉裏を使う場合はBBQ炭を持参してください。 スーパーマーケットまで1､6キロ、出雲市駅まで5キロです。 田圃道、川土手などのを早朝にウォーキング，ジョギングすると気持ちいいです。 ペットは土間でお願いしています。7，8月は庭のブルベリーをどうぞ。
