Tickfaw State Park is upriver and there are four night clubs that play live music, with pier docking, & dining. Lake Maurepas is 14 miles down river. Manchac Middendorf 20 miles down river. This is a downtown cottage behind the main house with covered parking for one car. Guest have access to a pool, hot tub, sauna, patio and grill. All outside amnesties are shared. We are 3 minutes to downtown Hammond and 2 minutes to Southeastern Louisiana University. We are only 45 minutes to New Orleans, 18 minutes to Mandeville/Covington and 35 minutes to Baton Rouge.
