Come stay in our ​cozy cottage located down a country lane. Part of the Ponder farm dating back to 1906, we have a little house that offers a peaceful environment overlooking the family farm with a picturesque old barn, surrounded by tree lined fields. Enjoy the updated home with fully furnished kitchen, queen bed, and open front and back porches for relaxing in the quiet countryside. We are located just south of Sherman off Hwy 11, close to Austin College, with easy access to Highway 75.

While attached to the main house, it has its own entrance and is separated by a large enclosed shared space featuring an outdoor dining area, cozy outdoor living area, and pool table—ideal for relaxing or entertaining. Step outside to explore the property: a pond with a private island complete with a tiki bar and fire pit—ideal for weddings, retreats, or family gatherings. Horses, chickens, and geese roam the grounds, adding to the peaceful country charm.
