In the heart of Indianola, several short blocks from Puget Sound, a wide sandy beach, the pier, and the famed Indianola Country Store, the Greenwood Cottage is a perfect tranquil get-away. Centrally located, the Greenwood Cottage is a short drive to Bainbridge Island (and the Seattle ferry), the Nordic charm of Poulsbo, Kingston (and the Edmonds ferry), and all of Kitsap County. Enjoy our secluded park like setting, comfy bed, sauna, homemade bread/jam, huge cedar trees, sitting areas, golf chipping, horseshoes (seasonal). Close to SEA via ferry ride from Bainbridge Is. (30 min. drive) or 10 min. to Kingston ferries (walk-on or car). Near beach, golf (White Horse GC) & miles of hiking/biking trails, close to shopping & restaurants. Good for couples/singles. A quaint renovated 1930s vacation cottage, just steps from community beach access. All amenities are included; just bring your bags and settle in to enjoy the quiet and inviting environment. There is a small local country store just a short walk from the front gate, a community club house and, of course, an amazing beach and the locally famous boardwalk dock. There are all sorts of outdoor activity opportunities in the area. So if you want a Puget Sound getaway, this is your little cottage.

Come explore beautiful Bainbridge Island and stay in our comfortable guest home. Located 5 miles from the ferry on the Northeast side of the island. This home is a separate dwelling with it's own driveway and private entrance located on our property. The short walk to the beach is about 5 minutes where you can have a beach fire, build a fort or simply relax and enjoy the views of the shipping lanes, Mt. Rainer, herons, eagles, orcas and our neighborhood sea lions.
