Use all the facilities on the wider property: wake up and dive in the swimming pool; meditate, do yoga while facing the volcano; peddle to the other side of the lake; heat up in the sauna, cool down in the lake; observe the stars during the night from the Jacuzzi, make a fire in the cottage before going to sleep. Serenity, nature and lush landscapes meet luxury here at Lakeview Lodge, nestled between the two Mayan villages of San Marcos La Laguna and Tzununa. It is perfectly suited for those who long for tranquility and privacy. It is just a 15 minute walk downhill (or a 5 minute tuktuk ride) to the popular hipster/holistic village of San Marcos La Laguna. From our road entrance up to the house there are 150 steps to hike, well worth it for the incredible view!

Casa Serenidad - A Santa Cruz Lake Front Stay

Casa Serenidad is a lakefront cottage with lush gardens secluded enough to be alone with nature, but within 3-5 minutes away from Isla Verde, a hotel with a restaurant that offers delicious food, and it’s usually open to the public. The property is only accessible by boat but its approx. a 15 minute walk to the town of Santa Cruz, and very close to kayak and paddle board rentals. We are about a 10 minute boat ride to Panajachel.
