Revamped Minimalist Stone Country House

Nestled on the foot of mount Giouchtas, in the picturesque village of Archanes, our stone countryhouse is located in one of the most central and beautiful parts of the area. Archanes are 20 minutes away from the centre of Heraklion(15km), 15 minutes away from Heraklion's International airport, 15 minutes away from the famous Minoan palace of Knossos, as well as 20 minutes away from numerous beautiful beaches. Situated in the center of the most important wine-producing region of Crete, it has a 5000 years old history, while excavations conducted in the last 50 years have brought to light a lot of sites dating back to the Minoan period. The village is also very famous for its typical Cretan architecture. Most of the houses have been restored recently and Archanes has won the second award as “the best restored village in Europe”. The house enjoys a spacious interior and a private garden, which is protected by a peripheral wall. This is a typical characteristic of old Cretan houses of the area. Guests enter the private garden through the gate which then leads to the main building. I am always at the disposal of my guests, so that I can make their holiday problem-free. My guests can reach me at my mobile phone, text me or send a message directly to my inbox. Furthermore, there is a free parking very close to the house. The country house is only 20’ away from the “Nikos Kazantzakis Airport” and the port. The archeological site of Knossos is 15’ away.

Η εστία αποπνέει μια διαχρονική γοητεία που σας μεταφέρει σε έναν κόσμο ηρεμίας.Για όσους αναζητούν ανάπαυλα από τον πολύβουο κόσμο, αυτό το σπίτι στο χωριό είναι ένα καταφύγιο παρηγοριάς. Κάθε γωνιά ψιθυρίζει τις ιστορίες της χαράς, του γέλιου και των αγαπημένων στιγμών που έχουμε περάσει.

An ideal spot for individuals seeking peace and quiet close to the nature and for adventurers that want to explore central and east Crete. The villa occupies 95 sqr metres and is located next to the sandy beach of Ammoudara (400m). The city of Agios Nikolaos is 5 minute car drive away. It is suitable for couples and companies of individuals offering a beautiful sea view to the gulf of Mirabello. It is located within a garden full of lemon trees and olive groves overlooking the big blue.

Δεσπόζει στην κορυφή, είναι ευάερο και ευήλιο, με μεγάλους, άνετους χώρους. Ενδείκνυται για οικογένεια και μπορεί να φιλοξενήσει έως και 5 άτομα. Το Σπίτι Νο 3 είναι ένα ψηλό, εντυπωσιακό σπίτι, ευάερο, φωτεινό με οντά. Ένας πραγματικά ιδιαίτερος, εντυπωσιακός χώρος. Μπορεί να φιλοξενήσει έως και 5 άτομα.

A place suitable for adults in the center of the village, that you can easy explore by walking. Museum Rodanthi with plenty of cretan herbs is beside the house to visit. The Kritsa gorge is a highlight (about 10km) .Just 15' minutes driving to the city of Agios Nikolaos, and 10' minutes driving to another traditional village Kroustas.Enjoy the simple things!
