Mount Pleasant Cabin is located among beautiful woods and farmland. It is off a gravel side road which gives you lots of peace and quiet. A covered bridge nearby and wildlife add to the experience. Tuscarora State Forest and Colonel Denning State Park have nice hiking trails. Blain is the closest town where you will find Fowlers Hollow Park, Kings Bakery, Earth’s Delights, Conoco View Dairy, Blain Market, and Wise Dry Goods. Sherman's Getaway

This farm nestled against the Tuscarora State Forest offers a comfortable place to stay with the peace and quiet of a country setting. With a spacious front yard and 10 acre field with plenty of room for outdoor activities. Bordering the Sherman's Creek, makes it a nice spot to go for a walk or dip your feet in the warm summer months. Wildlife abounds, so bring your binoculars! Take time on a clear night to view the majesty of the stars as there is very little light pollution.

The Crowe's Lounge

Let your dogs and children run free on 40 acres of private land. Tucked away in total privacy, with no visible neighbors or passersby. Shut the driveway gate, and you will be prepared for the zombie apocalypse. Fully renovated, clean, brightly-adorned rooms will lift any mood. Hiking, bird-watching, and nature-filled fun! Quiet area, excellent for stargazing. Dog, cat, and horse friendly. The road in is rustic and unpaved, setting the tone for a true off-grid escape.

Cozy country charm

My cottage has beautiful views from every side of the house and a relaxing front porch to sit and relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. It's a cozy cottage at the foot of the mountain with lots of privacy. There are no neighbors. There are horses here to enjoy watching them graze or feed them a snack. It's truly a nice getaway and still only a half hour from 3 local towns. For warmer weather there is a firepit, picnic table, grill and some nice shaded areas to relax.

A relaxing oasis for adults and kids alike, our 1930s Cape Cod is situated along a quiet walking/biking trail and is well-equipped for long and short stays alike. Enjoy our indoor fireplace on cold winter nights, the breezy screened-in porch for your morning coffee or evening drink, and river frontage for hot sunny days. We are an easy drive to State College for athletics, graduation, etc., and close proximity to excellent hiking, fishing, skiing, and water recreation.

Edgewater Lodge

A perfect place to get away from the stresses of life to relax and unwind . You Can have a seat on the large porch overlooking the Conodoguinet creek and enjoy watching nature , watch your kids playing and splashing in the creek , make dinner with the BBQ grill on the back patio or be just plain lazy ! There is no tv at this place , our goal is to have our guests enjoy nature and in this way be refreshed and ready to go back to work.

Welcome to the Goat Ranch! It's home to our herd of goats. We are surrounded by fields, small farms and the Appalachian mountains. Enjoy the "corncrib" gazebo complete with a fire ring, and firewood. We also provide breakfast, such as: fresh milk , eggs and bakery treats from local businesses and farmers. We live close by. Come and unwind, pet the goats and enjoy the peaceful country side in the juniata valley!
