The Hut at Elm Tree Farm, Mansfield

The Hut at Elm Tree Farm is a place to switch off and reconnect with nature. It sits on 160 rolling acres and is surrounded by a 5000 acre working farm. It is an off grid restored shearer's hut with a separate bathroom/toilet and outdoor kitchen. USB charging is available. The hut operates on 12 volt power and gas is provided for water heating and cooking. There is a indoor fireplace for warmth and an outdoor firepit for fun. Located a short stroll from the Main Street of Mansfield, Historic Anstee Cottage was one of the first homes built in Mansfield circa 1885. It has been fully renovated and beautifully restored into a 2 bedroom luxury Victorian period cottage with your own entrance, veranda & front garden. Set in a english cottage garden with roses outside your bedroom windows for you to enjoy. A house has been built at the back of the cottage which is connected by a locked door where I live.

Dandaloo Luxury Escape short drive to Yarra Valley

Dandaloo Luxury Escape is a self-contained 2-bedroom house set in the grounds of Dandaloo homestead, circa 1890s. It has been tastefully renovated and built to take in the ambiance of surrounding gardens and natural bush. Each morning of your stay you can begin the day by enjoying a leisurely breakfast on one of the 3 decks, using the quality provisions left for you in the fridge. Later you can relax in the outdoor bath on the back deck and maybe see kangaroos or king parrots.

Located in the township of Longwood, a 5 minute walk to the White Hart Hotel. Constructed in 2021 using some materials recovered from the original 1885 house it has a large open plan living area, balcony and alfresco, backyard and front yard space (sorry no pets). Close to towns of Nagambie, Avenel and Euroa. Opposite rail line and close to local businesses the Rockery and Longwood Community Centre, local wineries Mitchellton, Tabilk, RPL, Fowle’s, Hide and Seek and Maygars.
