We have a quaint, cozy&clean room, with a work in progress exterior(purchased in 2020/built in the 1950s) located 28 miles from the Copper Harbor mountain biking trails. We do not take pets at this time, severe allergies. Two restaurants are located within walking distance, Slim’s Cafe(closed Mon), and the Glacia Tavern. The Inn at Shady Pines (an ode to The Golden Girls) is locally-owned and remotely-operated by a group of friends who met as real estate agents in metro Detroit. After an extensive renovation, we are proud to offer 10 beautifully updated rooms with either one king bed and a pull out sofa or two queen beds. All rooms come with a kitchenette, refrigerator, microwave, coffee makers, TV, private bathrooms, basic toiletries and views of Lake Michigan.

Thomsonite Inn on Lake Superior unit #11

Formerly known as the Feigal’s jewelry workshop, this unit was converted into a spacious and economical unit. A wooded view with a king bed, microwave, mini fridge, Smart TV, telephone, and coffeemaker. Wifi provided. A short walk around our building and you can enjoy our large grassy grounds and ledge rock Lake Superior shoreline. Note there is no view of Lake Superior from this room, and this room is located next to the office.
