Balsam Hollow is a newly built, charming rustic cabin that was created from the heart for our family, friends and you. From the all-wood exterior and interior, to the log railings in the loft, staircase and covered porch with wrap-around deck, our mission is to give our guests a true Adirondack Experience. Surrounded by nature, secluded and private, yet centrally located to Saranac Lake, Lake Placid, and Rainbow Lake with 25 miles of connecting waterways. You will find a snow shoe trail and cross country skiing on our 10 acres. Outside grill and fire pit. With our tankless water system you will have an endless supply of hot water to enjoy! Even though we are tucked off the beaten trail we are close to so much adventure! There are multiple trail heads close by, ice skating (pond style or rinks including the Olympic Oval in Lake Placid), Whiteface Mountain Ski Resort, Bobsled rides, Toboggan Shoot, Sled Dog rides, Boating, Canoeing, Mountain Beaches, Swimming Holes, White Water Rafting, Hiking, Mountain Biking, and so much more! We are only 20 minutes from Whiteface ski area and nearby hiking and mountain biking trails as well as lakes and rivers for swimming and paddling. Winter offers Snowmobiling, X-C Skiing from our front door. Our camp is the perfect place to unwind, relax, and have FUN! We are centrally located to restaurants, stores, attractions & events. Nearby are Tupper Lake, Saranac Lake and Lake Placid, the Olympic Village for Bob Sledding, Luge Rides, Cliffside Coaster, & Zip lines

The Library at Camp Arden

Do you love books enough to sleep with them? Step into the Library at Camp Arden, furnished with one-of-a-kind antiques and collectibles. Curl up with your favorite book and take in the light of antique stained glass and the sounds of the Adirondacks gently wafting through the window. Take a paddle on Carpenter Pond with a provided canoe, or snuggle by the fire outside your door by your own fire-pit. No matter what you do, Camp Arden is waiting to help you enjoy the Adirondacks.

The Farm House has been completely renovated. It's construciton is simple, clean, private and contains all the ammenities for both short and long-term stays. This is an ideal place to stay if you're looking for a private home away from home to eat, drink and socialize, take walks and hikes without running into people, get away from town life and busy tourist hubs, and for those looking to explore just about anywhere in the central Adirondacks, by car, in short time.

This cottage has the best there is to offer for beautiful sunrises, lake and mountain views as well as tons of things to do. Kayaking, boating, fishing, canoeing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, cross country skiing is all right outside your front door. Golfing, downhill skiing, hiking is all within a 10-15 minute drive.
