Private entrance out back, winter access thru the garage. Laundry facilities in the garage. Driveway parking. Well behaved dogs are welcome - see rules. Fenced backyard with fire pit. 3 - 1/2 miles North of US-2 Perfectly nested in a beautiful country setting with pull in driveway with a large area for parking. Plenty of FREE firewood for the firepit for relaxing around a fire in the evening under the stars. Maple Leaf is centrally located 1 hour or less to U.P. attractions. South Manistique Lake which is 2 miles north of cottage. You can access the trails from the south of cottage 300 feet on a scenic trail in the woods about 2 miles turn left or right to find the trails.

Just 18 miles west of the Mackinac bridge and downtown St. Ignace, 50 min. drive to Soo Locks or Taquamenon Falls.

The cabin is a very comfortable one-bedroom, one-bath, upper peninsula home. There is a large entryway to leave all your gear in. The cabin is stocked with all the cooking utensils and pans you will need including a coffee grinder. The wood stove is wonderful to sit next to on a cold day. The cabin is private, facing away from the road. There is a fire pit for your evening hot dog and marshmallow roasts while enjoying the sounds of the whip-poor will.
