Cob Cottage

Channel the pursuit of pause in this one-of-a-kind earth house. The cozy retreat was hand-sculpted using local and sustainable natural materials, and features a central living space with cantilevered slab stairs leading to the loft bedroom. Guests have access to the entire cottage and surrounding property. We live in the neighbouring house, and are happy to give advice or answer questions to help you make the most of your stay. The neighborhood is quite rural and mostly agricultural with several farms and a small private vineyard. The home is a 10 minute walk from the beach and a 20 minute walk from a family grocery and deli specializing in local organic produce. Mayne Island has a small community bus. Times and routes are limited, particularly in the winter. It will stop at the driveway. We also have an official hitch hiking system with signed Car Stops where you can wait for a ride. Usually you don't have to wait long. We are happy to offer pickup and drop off at the ferry dock as a courtesy to encourage car-free travellers, on days when the community bus is not running. Please let us know ahead of time that you'll be coming without your own transportation, and we will make sure that either we or the community bus (which will drop you off at our driveway) are there to meet you when your ferry arrives. The BC Ferries terminals near Victoria and Vancouver are easily reachable via public transit from their respective airports and downtowns.

A full modern suite in a truly unparalleled location! This private, beautifully appointed and self-contained suite at Summit House is situated on our 200 acres property, giving guests an exclusive retreat overlooking scenic Saanich Inlet's fjord. Just 20 mins to Victoria BC. Suite guests can enjoy relaxing in their own private outdoor area, hikes in our forest with 1 km of ocean front, or can simply use Summit House as a base to get out to experience the Malahat and Cowichan Valley surrounds!

Jordan River Cabin

All the comforts of a modern cabin in our newly built "Jordan River Cabin" nestled amongst 3 acres of tall evergreens with floor to ceiling window views. Fire up the BBQ on the wrap around deck. Wood stove comes supplied with kindling & firewood. Open concept, fully stocked kitchen with everything you need. Fresh towels & linens for 2 king size bedrooms & 2 rain shower bathrooms, a huge soaker bathtub upstairs, a hot outdoor rain shower + wood fired cedar hot tub & a newly added meditation deck!

Highland Treetop Retreat

Unwind and enjoy the tranquility of this chic and serene retreat nestled in the picturesque Highlands. Perfectly positioned for hiking adventures, with Gowland Todd and Lone Tree Hill just a stroll away, or simply relax amidst the stunning natural surroundings. This accommodation features a private entrance, a charmingly illuminated patio area complete with a fire table and cozy furniture. Inside discover a spacious, well equipped kitchen and a luxurious bathroom with walk in rainfall shower.

Oceanus, 30 min to Victoria, 15 min to Langford

Only 30 min from downtown Victoria, Oceanus offers a relaxing retreat/romantic sanctuary. Featuring a king-size bed, a queen-size pullout sofa, and a crib, this garden suite accommodates up to four adults. Oceanus has a full kitchen, equipped with all you need to prepare delicious meals, including a blender, a mixer, and a BBQ grill. Oceanus also offers a full bathroom, free laundry, parking, and fast internet (PureFibre), a cozy yet roomy space, and a private backyard with gorgeous views.

The Owls Perch Treehouse ~Luxury Treetop Retreat~

This amazing structure is attached to 3 large cedars and 1 giant maple using advanced tree tabs that allow the trees to sway gently, providing a natural and immersive experience. Welcome to our charming cabin. We strive to make this place a home away from home for our guests. Nestled on a 5-acre shared property our cozy home is surrounded by nature, but still near the city. With trails nearby, and some even attached, yet still close to all amenities in Cowichan and Langford, we like to think we have it all here! We are happy to provide guests with all the modern basics you need; plus a hot tub, fire pit, and bbq. We also have baby amenities available upon request.

Within few minutes drive is the Malahat sky walking and downtown Victoria only 20 minutes away. Many activities can be arranged if you request at booking.

The Boathouse is perfect for couples seeking a romantic retreat or solo travelers wanting to unplug and recharge their batteries. This 1 bedroom cottage is nestled on the hillside at the water’s edge. As you walk the steps down to the private cottage take in the panoramic ocean views. It has recently been renovated from top to bottom. *Please note that a new house is being built next door, so there may be residential construction noise during the day.
