Dog Friendly Speedwell Stable at Speedwell House

One of two refurbished stone-built cottages, which are dog friendly, with our own field to enjoy, with views of Mam Tor and Lose Hill. Modern fittings (including Smart TV and high speed wi-fi) set within original features all in the grounds of Speedwell House. We are just a very short walk away, 1 minute, from the many facilities in Castleton along with onsite parking. Castleton Stunning Peak Cavern Gorge Location

Torside is the closest dwelling to Peak Cavern in the stunning and 'other worldly' Peak Cavern Gorge. The Gorge is a SSSI and one of the Seven Wonders of the Peak. A further three renowned show caverns, 7 pubs, cafes and shops are within walking distance. The scenery is dramatic and ever changing as the weather rolls in over Mam Tor from the West. Temperature inversions create outstanding conditions for photography. The cottage is vernacular and decorated to English Heritage standards.

Direct access to covered (new 2023) decking area & shared garden so you can enjoy the water, wildlife and countryside. Food prep area with fridge, microwave, sink, kettle & toaster. Plenty of walks from the doorstep, cycle routes and climbing opportunities. Perfectly located to explore the Peak District. Car highly recommended. The annexe is attached to our family home, but has its own entrance.

Idyllic country cottage in Castleton

Cave End Cottage is over 300 years old and is our much loved second home. Many original features remain including wobbly walls, wooden beams and a beautiful, large fireplace. It's perfectly located in Castleton at the bottom of Cavedale, a picturesque valley below Peveril Castle. Its central location in the village means it's close to all attractions, shops, pubs and restaurants. Equipped to accommodate all your needs the property's also on a dead-end so there's no passing traffic.
