We are central to the Waikato, minutes from the Waikato Expressway/SH1 - approx. an hours drive to Auckland, west coast surfing/fishing beaches like Raglan, 90 mins to east coast Coromandel's world renowned beautiful beaches, a short drive to Hakarimata bushwalks with 800 year old Kauri, Golf Course, Hot Pools, Huntly Speedway, 20 minutes to Hamilton, Hampton Downs Raceway, and lovely cafe's a short drive.

Kia ora and welcome to Chaparral Sunset. Your hosts Lyn and Keith welcome you into their rural fully self-contained accommodation. Our cosy guest house has Sky TV, wireless internet, a guest BBQ and well equipped kitchen. Babies under 6 months are free. There is a charge of $20.00 a night for children older than 6 months, a free porta-cot (including mattress and bedding) is available on request. It overlooks the rolling hills of Waikato and you can enjoy the sunrise and sunset from your own deck. It is located in the rural area of Pokeno south of Auckland. It’s conveniently close to SH1 and SH2, but far enough to not hear any traffic.
