Message for shorter stay rates. Navigation to Pokegama depends on water levels and driver skill. Drivers must be over 25 with experience.

Nestled along a peaceful stretch of river, this cozy getaway has everything you need for a relaxing stay and plenty of ways to enjoy the great outdoors. Paddle down the river with our provided paddleboards and canoe, sip your morning coffee on the huge deck surrounded by trees, or unwind by the firepit. Inside, you’ll find all the amenities to make you feel right at home - just pack your bags and enjoy.

The Cardinal Cabin

Our cozy cabin is located under tall pine trees on a beautiful, northern lake where loons and eagles frequent. Wood Lake is easily commutable - 80 miles from the Twin Cities. Swim and fish off the dock or pontoon during the day, and sit in front of the stone fireplace at night. The Cabin has been completely remodeled, with a modern kitchen and new furnishings. It is also equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi with access to many streaming services. The Cardinal Cabin is the perfect lakeside retreat!

Only an hour north of the Twin Cities, enjoy modern conveniences like WIFI (60mbps), smart TV, complete kitchen, full bathroom, a bedroom and loft both with queen beds, a cozy living room with a real wood fireplace and an outdoor electric barrel sauna. This bright and cozy 3 bed/2 bath home is a relaxing getaway just 70 miles north of the twin cities. Our cabin is set on a beautiful, pine filled peninsula offering amazing views of Cross Lake from the oversized deck or any window in the house! Whether you're interested in a relaxing get-away with the family, fishing Cross Lake (in summer or winter), hitting the casino (just a short 10 minute drive) or enjoying the nearby snowmobiling trails this cabin is a perfect fit.

Enjoy lake life walking distance to restaurants, bars, parks, & shopping. Outdoor grounds are part of an HOA. Grill is shared w/another unit just below this one. HOA requires liability waiver for all adults (Find in the "House Manual" to pre-read). 1 dog under 30lbs ok w/$150 pet fee. Sandy bottom lake, but seaweed grows where shallow. The laundry room can be an office, extra bedroom, or extra storage - yellow chair beds have been removed. Longer term stays welcome.

Fire pit with Adirondacks and grill and plenty of wood, propane and Edison lights. Private use bathhouse with shower (open april 15-oct 7) and year round camping toilet.
