Private house with a cosy decor in the hearth of the Slieve Felim Way walking trail which starts in Murroe and ends in the Silvermines, Co. Tipperary and the trail is approximately 43 kilometres long. We are 5 minutes to Clare Glens, 10 minutes to Newport town and Murroe Village which hosts Glenstal Abbey, 34 minutes to Limerick city, 30 minutes to the scenic village of Killaloe,46 minutes to Shannon and 2 hours to Dublin Airport. It is a semi-detached cottage which is set in a tranquil courtyard with two other unique cottages. It is surrounded by 2.5 acres of gardens. The cottage has a unique design reflecting old Ireland with Modern Amenities. Location is 4 miles from the village of Emly which has shops and a restaurant. The local pub is a 10 minute walk from the cottage, and is a real Irish pub with mud walls and full of character. There are many nearby attractions which include Golf Courses. Mountain Biking etc.

The Swallow's Nest

Please don't come here - If you're looking for big city lights, mod cons & public transport. Please do come here - If you're interested in growing your own food, keeping bees, hiking, food preservation, nature, chickens & geese, bats, birdsong & silence (hens/geese/wildlife permitting!). The Swallow's Nest is a tiny barn which sits between Slievenamon & the Comeragh mountains, in the glorious valley known as The Honeylands but is only a ten minute drive from Clonmel, Tipperary's County town.

Charming 15th Century Castle

Built in the late 1400s, Grantstown Castle has been lovingly restored and mixes medieval architecture with modern comforts. The Castle Is Rented In Its Entirety And Caters For Up To Seven Guests. The castle is comprised of six floors, connected via a stone and oak spiral staircase. There are three double bedrooms and one single. The castle has great battlements which are accessible at the top of the staircase and host amazing views of the surrounding countryside.
