Naš moderni dom udaljen je 15 minuta od Taufoa, a ipak djeluje kao privatno skrovište. Mirno i skrovito, s pogledom na jezero Taupō i planinu Ruapehu, sa zadivljujućim zalascima sunca. Idealan je tokom cijele godine, ima spoljne prostore sa roštiljem, velike prozore i dvostrani kamin. Zaliv Vhakaipo udaljen je 5 minuta za kupanje ili šetnju, a u blizini se nalazi mnoštvo šumskih staza. Nije prikladno za djecu. Fen za kosu, toaletne potrepštine i pegla nijesu obezbijeđeni (žao nam je, gosti ih stalno uzimaju i teško ih je stalno zamjenjivati).
