Hunter House - Self Catering in Cederberg

The Hunter House is a private holiday home in the Cederberg that is surrounded by blossoms, flowers and Namaqualand daisies in the spring. Summer brings the sound of the sun beetles and fresh peaches next to your holiday home. The river on your doorstep so if you don't swim in it during the summer, you can see how it grows in the winter next to a fireplace as you hear it roar. It offers a peaceful and private retreat for up to six guests in three bedrooms, with two bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. The cottage is an ideal getaway for families and anyone looking to escape the rush of the city and immerse themselves in the beauty of the Sandveld. The farm has hiking trails and beautiful scenery. There are also Cape Mountain Zebra, Bontebok, and Springbok on the farm.

Rustic, old-fashioned cottage - the home of Marijke and Lefras Olivier, a retired local farmer. Located in the heart of the Rocklands bouldering area. Perfect for boulderers, or anyone wishing to enjoy the beauty of the Cederberg or just to enjoy the peace and quiet. The owners live in a Studio apartment at the back part of the house. They have a separate entrance. While guests will almost be unaware of their presence they are always available to give advice or answer questions.

Welcome to Weavers Cottage, set among orange orchards on our 80-hectare farm. A 12-minute walk takes you to a quiet waterfall and natural swimming spots. Guests spend their time hiking, swimming, and bouldering — or just enjoying the stillness. The patio’s a great place to unwind, and you’ll likely spot a few tortoises passing by.
