Also steps from lovely Bannerman Park, which features plenty of grassy areas to lounge on, a splash pad, free swimming pool, modern playground, canteen, plus an ice skating loop in the winter. It's a best-of-both-worlds location, both quiet and close to the park, but only a 10-15 minute walk from all the downtown nightlife!

The Trailhead Guest Cottage

Our peaceful oceanfront guest cottage is situated at the head of the 9.5 km Pollett's Cove hiking trail. We recommend a two night stay - first night, settle in with a beverage, evening sunset and star gazing. Wake to coffee and farm fresh breakfast delivered to your door step (except in August when we are on vacation), before hitting the trail to Pollett's Cove, the Skyline or any of the 30 other nearby national park trails. Have a swim, and return to a hot outdoor shower. Repeat!

Named Gold Mine Cove in 1583, the beach as you turn to the bnb is part of the Discovery UNESCO Global Geopark - "Fool's Gold" on one side & 560-million-year-old fossils on the other.
