This yurt provides a unique magical experience tucked away in the rainforest of Springbrook Mountain. Step out of the front door and into the National Park, with Purlingbrook Falls and walking track right next to the property. You have a private creek at your door step to enjoy in the summer and an indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit for the cool winter nights. The yurt is self-contained with a separate and bathroom and kitchen. Cooking utensils, gas cook top, barbecue and equipment provided.

We have two yurts (The Yurt Alpine Retreat II and The Yurt Alpine Retreat, both on the same mountain ridge. quite private from each other one looks over King Valley and the other looks over Myrrhee valley both have great views and the yurts themselves are identical) so there is double the availability.

The Yurt at Wai Rua, west of Whangarei, is approximately 20 minutes drive from Kamo via Pipiwai Road. It is set in a beautiful tranquil farmland area beside a small lake, which is surrounded by native trees. Watch the native birds, ducks and pukekos whilst sitting on the deck. It has amazing rural views, including massive volcanic rocks. The yurt has a separate kitchen, with a small fridge and gas oven and 2hob burners.
