Our family poured our hearts into creating this home after a lava flow from the 2018 eruption in Lower East Rift Zone destroyed our original residence. We are hosting a Quiet Hawaiian Oasis, less then 15 min from Hilo, Hilo airport and 15 min from the earthy hippie town of Pahoa. Our Ohana has easy access to main road but far enough away to be in complete silence and zero light pollution. The studio is separate from main house with a kitchenette, full bathroom with tub and central air conditioning. If your looking for great beaches, waterfalls, and hikes through the rainforest and botanical gardens, look no further.

Large studio unit attached to our family home in HPP, a rural subdivision in Puna on Hawai‘i Island. 20 min from Hilo Int'l Airport & 40 min from Volcanoes National Park. We have two large dogs, Jack & Boogie, and many cats. They bark and will be excited to meet you. If you aren't comfortable around large dogs this is not the place for you. Animal noises, including coqui frogs, are part of this rural space. You agree to all "House Rules" by instantly booking.

Old School Hospitality

This spacious ground-floor apartment can sleep four very comfortably. It has two bedrooms, one bathroom, living room, dining area, an indoor waterfall, and stocked kitchen, There is a beautiful lanai that overlooks a large koi pond and spacious, manicured grounds. We call the property Old School Hospitality because it was built from recycled materials from the old Hakalau School. Much of the house's charm comes from the unique materials used in construction.
