Kleine Weide Cottage

Situated just outside the small town of Otjiwarongo, this little cottage will offer you peaceful, quiet and safe accommodation close to nature. Each bedroom has its own shower and toilet facilities. Cook your own meal, barbeque (braai) or visit one of our restaurants in town. For more information, feel free to ask the host. An own car or rental would be recommended, as we are not within walking distance of any commodities.

Situated 6 km outside of town, surrounded by the Namibian country feel, this little bungalow offers an own entrance with your very own BBQ (braai) facilities. It can only be reached by car and is fully equipped. Enjoy the peaceful sunsets with breathtaking views, while sitting on the porch.

The Smilin House was custom built in 2025 for me, Konrad Thaler, a German born living in California for my frequent stays in Namibia. My neighbor and friends Lusia and Sevelia are the hosts and are in charge of the rental and will be available should you need any assistance. Welcome to beautiful Otjiwarongo

Crocodile Inn - Family Room

We strongly advise that you do not book the family room for 4 adults since you will all share one bathroom. Unfortunately, we have to ask an extra fee for all infants 12 - 23 months, which amounts to N$250.00 per infant. Although my name is very French, I unfortunately cannot speak French.
