Ideal for couples and families seeking a peaceful Up North retreat. **Snowmobilers, the trailheads are only a couple miles from here and you can ride there 😉 Near the Pigeon River Country, the Pigeon & Sturgeon Rivers, Treetops and Otsego ski/golf resorts and miles and miles of snowmobile trails. Relax around the campfire after your day exploring, shopping in Gaylord or trail riding. Quiet, cozy, and very peaceful ~~ reserve your stay!

Big Lake Cabin W Hot Tub/ Kayaks/PngPong/Cable/HBO

The "Sunshine Cabin" enjoys ample natural sun year around from its lofty position up in the trees. The large picture window overlooking Big Lake provides a birds eye view (partial view) of both the canopy and lake. This 81’ deep lake has an island and home to many types of fish that's why we brought fishing/recreational kayaks for our guests. The boat launch access is just 1.6 miles from the sunshine cabin. The cabin is secluded on 1.45 acres of trees. The place has 18 stairs to the 2nd floor.

Guests will have access to Otsego Lake, and all of the Northern Michigan favorites are within 45 minutes to 1.5 hours away!

There is an abundance of golf courses close by with some just up the road: Michaywe Pines, The Ridge, and The Loon!

(Weddings & family reunions welcomed - but no parties!)

One room rustic cabin with private bath Sleeps 4 max comfortably. Small refrigerator, coffee pot ,toaster oven/air-fryer, outdoor firepit, and outdoor propane grill. Overlooking small pond. We currently have bald eagles and golden eagles sighted daily. Close to the snowmobile trail, 4-wheeler trails, horse trails and the Pigeon River State forest. I-75 does run along side of property, but has a tree line which blocks the sight of it.
