Ferry services to Cape Lookout via Harkers Island (15 min. drive), Shackleford Banks via Beaufort (15 min. drive), and day trips to Ocracoke via Cedar Island (35 min. drive) nearby

Welcome to the beauty and nature of Core Sound! The Yates Cottage is directly on the water and has spectacular views of Core Sound and Cape Lookout Lighthouse with large windows. Other amenities are a screen porch, fire pit, and a large yard for lawn games. The Yates cottage is great for couples, families, dogs (with a single $150 pet fee), joggers, walkers, bikers, fishers and boaters. You will be welcomed with freshly-made beds, towels and a full kitchen with Keurig and Rachel Ray cookware.
