Avaton Farm remains under the same management and continues to offer the same services to our guests! :) Avaton Farm is located 136km from the city of Thessaloniki and 89km from SKG Airport,900m after Ouranoupolis and 600m from the border of Mount Athos. It is a bio and eco-friendly farm. The house itself is surrounded by olive groves,vineyard and native aromatic and pharmaceutical plants. The immediate vicinity is a Unesco Protected area. The estate is amphetheater-like and provides the visitors with a breath taking, panoramic view of the Mount Athos Gulf,Ammouliani Island,the 5 smaller isles named Drenia and a surreal view of the night sky. Our cottage was built in the mid-70s inside a plot of land of 10.000 square meters and was recently renovated (during the early months of 2016) with respect to the environment using eco-friendly materials. As a family we used to spend our summers there raising our children and accomodating friends and extended family. For every visitor that will choose to spend a few days here at our estate we have many suggestions for his or her entertainment, to learn and familiarize him/herself with aromatic-pharmaceutical plants and receive training on how to make health and beauty products and natural remedies. During your stay we will also have at least one cooking session, making the most iconic and representative dishes of the Greek and Mediterranian cuisine. You can relax under the shade of the big pine trees, swim in the crystal-clear waters of the beach infront of the estate, walk along the quiet esplanade either towards the borders of Mt.Athos, or towards the village of Ouranoupolis. With the mountain bikes we provide free of charge, you might not even need a car to do so. Moreover, waiting for you, there is a kayak for enjoying peaceful rides inside the tranquil small coves. For the days you will not want to stay home, you will not get bored. You can participate in the daily cruises to Mt.Athos (after purchasing the tickets at the village). For either swimming or night entertainment, you can visit Ouranoupolis, Drenia Isles or Ammouliani Island (we will provide you with information on how to get there). Ouranoupolis is a village where you can find restaurants or taverns, a few cafes, bars in close proximity to the sea, supermarkets, a drug store souvenir shops etc. We manage the land with eco-friendly methods. The linen are made of 100% cotton. For this reason, we kindly request the visitors not to bring chemical cleaning products etc. After timely request we can provide the visitors with custom made products that will suit their Inside the house there is a fully functional and equipped kitchen. Appliances such as a Nesspresso machine, a toaster, hobs, a fridge with a freezer, boiler, washing machine can be found in the kitchen. Also available are also utensils, plates, bowls, cooking pots, spices etc. The bathroom icludes a spacious showering cabin with safety glass, a toilete, a washbasin and it communicates through two doors with the rest of the house. The sleeping rooms are exactly as depictured and equipped with eco-friendly and hypoallergic matresses and linen. In the living room, there is a spacious sofa-bed that can accomodate two people, a plasma LCD satellite TV, DVD-CD player, internet router, ceiling fan and view to the sea. The balcony has a sofa, a big table and 5 chairs. The sun terrace has a stone built, 5meter sofa and a 3meter wooden table. Inside the premises there is a parking space for your vehicles. Beach umbrellas, chairs and towels are provided free of charge.

Nea Roda Apartments Α2

An apartment with a spacious balcony with a view. It sleeps comfortably up to 5 guests. Only 150 metres from the sandy beach and restaurants and three minutes walk from the local bakery and supermarket. It benefits from a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious open plan lounge/dinner, two bedrooms with comfortable antique style beds, and a large wardrobe. One of the bedrooms has a double bed. The apartment is fully air conditioned, offers free WiFi, free parking and a garden with a barbecue.

This modern Loft is located in front of the beach and offers stunning sea view from its private balcony. The interior (renovated in 2022) features contemporary design and allows for plenty of sun light. The Loft area is 45sqm and consists of a living room, a dining area with fully equipped kitchen with appliances, private bathroom and a bedroom area. The location allows easy access to the beautiful beaches of the area, as well as to a variety of restaurants and shops.

Wooden dream on the beach! - iHouse

A unique wooden house on the beach! All you need in 34m2! It's the iHouse and it's fully equipped with all needed amenities. The iHouse is placed on our field in Nea Skioni, right in front of the sea. If you are looking for a place to getaway, relax and enjoy the beauties of nature, then the iHouse is ideal for you! There is a self check in system allocated at the location. You will be provided with all the needed information prior to your arrival.
