There is so much to love about this charming little house! It was built in 1905 and has many original features such as 11ft ceilings, hardwood floors and multiple built in fireplaces. Yet it also has a few modern day updates such as the fully stocked, island kitchen; the best of both worlds! You can enjoy your morning coffee in the rocking chairs on the front porch and grill dinner under the string lights on the back deck where we have a cute, fenced in back yard! Laura Walker State Park/Golfing and Okefenokee Swamp Park entrance is approx. 8 miles away. Visit our Heritage Center and Southern Forest World to see the petrified dog in the log. The Golden Isles are about an hour’s drive away. There is a fabulous bike trail on Jekyll Island. Beautiful beaches awaits on Jekyll and St. Simons Island also with historical places.

It is walking/bicycling distance from Downtown, Fort King George, Historic square, Harris Neck Wildlife Refuge (Great for wildlife photography) Parks and Waterfront also Restaurants and Shops. You'll find everything you need inside. Open living area, fully equipped kitchen and dining area. The bedroom has a queen size bed, private bathroom and there is an available washer/dryer. Perfect cottage for you and a companion.

This quaint 1960’s farmhouse sits beside a beautiful old magnolia tree. There is a complete kitchen and dining room alongside a comfortable living room with wi-if, a tv, and record player. The master bedroom has a king sized bed with a half bath. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed. There is a full bathroom with tub and shower. The den has a fireplace and pull out sleeper sofa. The highlight of this house is the large screened in porch looking out across the cow pasture.

Guest House

Guest house with one bedroom available. I occasionally live in the guest house to ensure everything is in working order. You will have the Guest house by yourself when you rent. I live full time in my Main house. Very private. I also have a nine year old female Lab, gentle, sweet dog. This property in rural, but only 3 miles from Jesup. I need a day's notice to ensure the guest house is ready for you. Rent is based on 1 or 2 guests.

The Cabin at The Old Parrott Place

The Cabin at The Old Parrott Place is ideal for one or two people to stay overnight or for a week. It's rustic, but clean and comfortable, has a king bed, a claw-foot tub, an outdoor shower, a microwave, toaster, small fridge and complementary coffee and tea. Rocking chairs on the porch allow you to spend a little time outdoors enjoying the country air or listening to the birds. *Please Note * There is NO WIFI.
