The Star Hut at Rannoch Station

Unique, single-room glass-fronted hut in a silver birch/rowan wood on a small hill, full of character with a spectacular view 25 miles to the South East. Rannoch Moor is a place of peace and tranquillity, there is no noise (after the 9.05pm train) and no light pollution. Wee Blue Dream is a simple, comfortable small cabin with amazing views of the Black Castle and Ben Vrackie, Pitlochry, Scotland. A great escape for 1-3 people, especially for outdoor activities or simply relaxing at the fire pit with a glass of red wine. Lucy, our akita collie cross, welcomes all friendly dogs FOC. There is a wood-burning stove, double futon sofa/bed and day bed - all bedding provided, and a small kitchen area. There is a private shower room 10 metres away, with dishwasher.

Our cosy and modern (it has electricity and running water, fridge) shepherd’s hut has two rooms- perfect for couples or small families.
