Cabin in the Missions

Cozy 1930s lumberjack cabin updated with modern plumbing. Enjoy coffee in the morning while watching the deer and other wildlife grazing and moving through the yard. Due to the wildlife situation we ask that you do not bring pets. Close to McDonald Lake (15 mins), Kickinghorse reservoir (10 minutes) and Flathead Lake (25 mins). Glacier park is only a bit over an hour to reach from here. Many local activities in the summer or plan a hike in the beautiful Mission mountains. Peaceful and relaxing.

Cow Creek Cabin sits in a peaceful meadow with a gorgeous view of Big Mountain. It is just two miles to downtown Whitefish and 15 minutes to the ski hill. This family friendly cabin is located in the beautiful Mission Valley - midway between Kalispell and Missoula - at the base of North Crow Canyon. It has everything you need for a pleasant stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, a washer and dryer and climate control. One small bedroom with a queen bed downstairs and a loft with a second queen bed, a twin bed and a small sitting area upstairs provide ample sleeping space. A living area downstairs completes the space. *NO PETS AND NO SMOKING.*

The views are spectacular as you can enjoy 360 degree views of the valley, Flathead Lake, Glacier Park, The Swan Mountains, Blacktail Mountain and the big skies and stars of Montana. The only land in between our farm and the lake is a waterfowl preserve. Plenty of wildlife on the property and it is a wonderful spot to enjoy Flathead Valley.

There is no tv or phone, but we do have free WIFI, and cell service. The Covered Porch frames the incredible Flathead Lake views.

The northern 100' of lake shore is more private and is set aside for clothing optional swimming, sunbathing and trail walking in 2 acres of woodland.
