Our private MountainVista guesthouse is your ideal starting point whether you are attending a university event or exploring the Palouse country. Located 17 miles from Moscow, our comfortable guesthouse provides you with peace and quiet along with a scenic view of Moscow Mountain. MountainVista offers a well equipped dedicated workspace. Restored 1909 Train Carriage on 145 Acres

Stay in a restored 1909 train car, with a sauna and hot tub. Set amid forest and wheat fields with beautiful views. Spectacular night skies and lots of solitude round out the experience. This car ran on the Washington Idaho & Montana Railway from 1909 until around 1955. It was, (and is), car number 306, bought new from the American Car and Foundry Co.
